POSITION SUMMARY
The OTS Manager is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational oversight, and long-term growth of the Official Tournament Store (OTS) Program throughout the Americas. OTS is a network of gaming stores that have contracted with KONAMI to hold Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG Organized Play in their stores. This position is responsible for developing scalable Organized Play initiatives, enhancing retailer partnerships, and driving Duelist engagement through data-driven program management and operational excellence.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the development, execution, and long-term growth of the North America and Latin America Official Tournament Store Program. Establish annual program goals, KPIs, operational standards, and growth initiatives focused on engagement, retention, and Duelist participation. Develop strategic initiatives to increase Official Tournament Store participation, retailer retention, and Organized Play engagement. Provide leadership, direction, and mentorship to team members and cross-functional partners supporting the OTS program. Establish and monitor KPIs, performance metrics, and reporting dashboards to evaluate program success and operational effectiveness. Recommend operational improvements and scalable processes to support continued growth across North America and Latin America. Oversee the recruitment, evaluation, onboarding, and ongoing management of Official Tournament Stores, ensuring adherence to company policies and Organized Play standards. Identify opportunities to expand Organized Play initiatives into smaller markets through the expansion of our Official Tournament Store program. Develop and implement strategies to improve store performance, customer experience, and community engagement across the Official Tournament Store program network. Monitor industry trends, Duelist behavior, and retailer feedback to continuously evolve and strengthen the Official Tournament Store program. Collaborate with the Sales team on store incentives to ensure promotional items from our internal rewards program and distributor-based awards are coordinated and appealing to our stores and Duelists. Oversee all Official Tournament Store related Organized Play programs and initiatives, including Premiere! events, OTS Rewards, Release Celebrations, Top-Performing Store programs, Featured OTS, promotional campaigns, and program exclusive product allocations. Collaborate with Organized Play leadership to develop local level play initiatives that align with product launches, market conditions, and Duelist demand. Analyze tournament participation data, event reporting and program metrics to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement. Oversee the development and execution of Organized Play operational documentation, including FAQs, policy updates, T&C's, and event specific Ops Docs. Collaborate with Organized Play leadership on forecasting Official Tournament Store exclusive promotional items and prize support. Coordinate with the warehouse team and external fulfillment partners to ensure timely distribution of products, event materials, and prizing. Partner with Online and Marketing teams to maintain accurate Official Tournament Store listings, event calendars, and Organized Play information across all platforms, and ensure all in-store activations are properly advertised. Manage project timelines, approvals, vendor coordination, purchase orders, and shipping logistics for all Official Tournament Store-related deliverables. Develop and manage annual budgets for Official Tournament Store programs, promotional materials, events, and prize support inventory. Monitor inventory levels and forecast operational and material needs to support Organized Play initiatives effectively at the store level. Present program updates, recommendations, and strategic insights to Organized Play leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
5-7+ years of experience in Organized Play, retail program management, event operations, account management, or related field. Strong understanding of Organized Play systems, tournament operations, retailer support, and gaming community engagement. Experience managing budgets, forecasting inventory needs, and overseeing operational logistics. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and reporting systems. Experience with trading card games, hobby retail, esports, or gaming communities strongly preferred. Ability to travel as needed for events, retailer visits, trade shows, and industry functions. Bilingual English/Spanish preferred. Experience working with international teams and distributor networks preferred.
