ABOUT THE ROLE

We have an exciting opportunity at our Inglewood SPCA Op Shop for a: Op Shop Assistant Permanent/Part-Time - 13hrs per week Sunday 8:45am-2:15pm and Monday 8:45am-5:15pm Key Responsibilities Work sole charge on rostered days, taking full responsibility for daily shop operations. Receive, sort, price, and merchandise donated goods in line with SPCA guidelines. Ensure the shop is clean, welcoming, and well-stocked throughout the day. Provide friendly and professional customer service Accurately process sales and cash handling, including end-of-day reconciliation. Provide cover and basic team supervision in the manager's absence. Help support and guide volunteers in their roles. Ensure health & safety and SPCA procedures are followed.

ABOUT YOU

You're a team player with a passion for great service and a knack for retail. Whether it's pricing donated goods, helping customers, or supporting volunteers, you enjoy pitching in wherever needed to keep things running smoothly. Skills & Experience Retail experience essential (charity retail a bonus). Confident working sole charge and managing day-to-day shop responsibilities. Able to work flexibly across the shop floor, till, and sorting area. Confident communicator who enjoys helping others. Reliable, organised, and proactive with good attention to detail. Comfortable working in a team and independently. Basic computer skills, including using a till system and simple data entry. Physically fit and able to lift/move stock as required.
