Automotive Store Manager Compensation:
$109,000-168,000 effective rate About the Role We're seeking a results-driven Automotive Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales performance, and motivate a high-performing team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone with a strong automotive retail background who thrives in both sales and leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead, hire, train, schedule, and coach a high-performing team Drive daily execution, KPIs, and results while recognizing wins and addressing gaps Deliver a top-tier guest experience; support estimates, approvals, and complex conversations Execute pricing and sales strategies to grow revenue and ensure clear recommendations Own store-level P&L including labor, inventory, shrink, and budget control Maintain safety, compliance, cleanliness, and equipment readiness Ensure strong operational controls across cash handling, POS, reporting, and audits What We're Looking For Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in automotive service or a fast-paced retail environment with full P&L responsibility Strong sales leadership with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets Proven people manager who hires effectively, coaches consistently, and retains talent Operationally strong — comfortable managing KPIs, labor schedules, inventory, and cash controls Customer-focused communicator who builds trust through clarity and follow-through Valid driver's license and ability to support shop operations when needed (including lifting up to 70 lbs) Flexible availability, including weekends, to lead during peak business hours Pay, Perks & Growth Competitive hourly rate + commission and overtime opportunities Paid time off, including vacation and company-recognized holidays Comprehensive benefits package: medical, dental, vision, life, and optional supplemental coverage 401(k) retirement plan with employer match Team member discounts, referral incentives, and ASE certification reimbursement Clear advancement opportunities — many leaders have grown into Store Manager and Multi-Unit roles from within
