Duties Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system oversight Lead, supervise, and motivate sales associates to achieve retail sales targets through effective coaching and training in customer service, merchandising, and product knowledge Oversee inventory control processes, including stock replenishment, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock organization to maximize sales opportunities Conduct employee orientation sessions, interviews, and recruiting efforts to build a strong team aligned with company standards Manage scheduling shifts efficiently to ensure optimal coverage during peak hours while maintaining budget goals Support marketing initiatives by implementing promotional displays and merchandising plans that enhance store visibility and sales Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to resolve issues promptly Maintain accurate bookkeeping records, payroll processing, and administrative documentation ensuring compliance with company policies Experience Proven supervisory or assistant management experience within retail environments or grocery stores Strong background in retail math including sales management, budgeting, pricing strategies, and inventory management Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to train, develop, and supervise a diverse team effectively Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting while managing time efficiently Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse customer needs effectively Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail merchandising practices is Join us if you're passionate about leading teams, delivering outstanding customer service, and driving retail success!
