Job Summary Join our dynamic team as a Finish Line Macy's Store Manager, where you will lead and inspire a retail sales team to deliver exceptional customer service and drive store performance. In this energetic role, you will oversee daily operations, manage inventory, and ensure the store meets its sales goals. Your leadership will foster a positive shopping environment, motivate staff, and uphold company standards. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, results-driven individual passionate about retail management and customer engagement. Responsibilities Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, merchandising, inventory control, and customer service. Recruit, interview, train, and develop team members to ensure high performance and excellent customer experiences. Manage payroll, scheduling, and employee orientation to optimize staffing levels and operational efficiency. Oversee inventory management processes such as purchasing, stock replenishment, pricing strategies, and shrink reduction. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting while maintaining accuracy in cashiering duties. Implement merchandising standards to enhance product presentation and maximize sales opportunities. Monitor store operations including budgeting, bookkeeping, and ensuring compliance with company policies and safety regulations. Skills Strong management skills with proven experience in retail store leadership and supervising teams. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and provide clear managerial guidance. Proficiency in POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and sales analysis. Skilled in negotiation, purchasing decisions, and inventory control to optimize profitability. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse customer bases effectively. Experience in employee orientation, training & development, interviewing candidates, and conducting performance evaluations. Demonstrated ability to manage retail operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of customer service. Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, merchandising strategies, pricing policies, and operational management practices.
