Job Description
Overview The Pearl Manager oversees the day-to-day operations and elevated customer experience of a feminine-focused boutique offering silk goods, Monrosia botanical wellness products, apothecary items, and thoughtfully curated lifestyle merchandise. This role blends retail leadership, product knowledge, visual presentation, sales support, inventory coordination, and warm, personalized client service. Responsibilities Lead daily store operations, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning across all departments Manage and motivate the retail sales team, providing coaching, training, and development to enhance performance Oversee inventory management, including stock purchasing, merchandising, stocking, and inventory control to optimize product availability and minimize shrinkage Implement effective sales strategies and promotional activities to meet or exceed sales targets Handle customer service issues with professionalism, ensuring a positive shopping experience for all clients Supervise cashiering, POS systems, cash handling, and payroll processes with accuracy and integrity Coordinate shift management, scheduling staff appropriately to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours Qualifications Proven management experience within the retail industry, specifically in store or boutique settings Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise and develop a diverse team Excellent organization and communication skills with vendors, owner, & community Demonstrated proficiency in inventory management, POS systems, purchasing, and bookkeeping Skilled in customer service excellence, sales management, and operational oversight Experience with employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, training & development Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately and perform basic math calculations confidently Knowledge of retail math principles related to pricing, sales analysis, and budgeting Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with retail industry sales team management practices and supervisory experience in a retail setting J oin us at The Pearl as we create a beautiful, feminine, and intentional shopping experience where elevated service meets thoughtful boutique leadership.
