An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Hands-on Manager with strong customer relations Staffing and managing all associates day to day Daily operations, meetings, and reporting Creating a positive customer experience at all levels Data analyzing and reporting on sales and profit Food safety compliance with all Local, State, and Federal regulations

Assistant Grocery Manager Qualifications:

4 years experience in a similar role Positive leadership with a people first mentality Growth and succession mindset Warehouse management experience required Background in P&L, inventory control, hiring / training staff, merchandising, cash control, payroll, security / loss prevention
