The Store Manager will work closely with ownership, store supervisors and company leadership to maintain store standards, train and develop team members, manage scheduling and labor, support inventory and ordering, and help create a positive and professional work environment. This is a hands-on management role. The Store Manager should be comfortable working on the floor with the team, making drinks, supporting rushes, coaching employees, and helping ensure that daily operations are executed properly. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of management or supervisory experience in a restaurant, beverage, café, retail, or food service environment and is comfortable leading, training, and holding a team accountable in a fast-paced, hands-on store setting. Responsibilities Recruit, interview, and onboard new team members Train and develop employees according to company standards and store procedures Work on the floor with team members during scheduled shifts, including drink preparation, service support, and operational supervision Schedule team members and manage labor effectively based on business needs Monitor team performance and provide coaching, feedback, and corrective action when needed Conduct employee evaluations and performance reviews Support shift leads and team members during busy periods, staffing shortages, or operational issues Manage inventory counts, ordering processes, and stock organization Coordinate local purchasing and vendor relationships as needed Oversee equipment maintenance issues and communicate repair needs to ownership or vendors Maintain store cleanliness, organization, sanitation, and food safety standards Ensure team members follow company policies, promotions, recipes, SOPs, and customer service expectations Handle customer concerns and service recovery professionally Communicate clearly with ownership, supervisors, and company leadership regarding store operations, staffing, inventory, and performance Help the store achieve operational, labor, sales, service, and financial goals Requirements Fluent in both English and Chinese Previous restaurant, beverage, café, retail, or food service management experience Experience supervising, training, and developing employees Strong scheduling and labor management skills Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities Highly organized, accountable, and detail-oriented Able to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure Comfortable working hands-on with the team during service Available to work weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed Must have legal authorization to work in the United States Preferred Qualifications Bubble tea, beverage, café, or quick-service restaurant experience Inventory management and cost-control experience Experience opening stores, building teams, or improving store operations Experience working with POS systems, delivery platforms, scheduling systems, or inventory/order systems
Compensation Pay:
$19.50-$26.00 per hour This position begins with a 90-day probationary training period at $19.50 per hour. During this period, the Store Manager will be trained on UG Tea's store operations, drink preparation, recipes, SOPs, scheduling expectations, inventory procedures, team management standards, and company communication processes. Upon successful completion of the 90-day probationary period, hourly pay will increase to $26.00 per hour. Additional compensation, bonuses, and performance-based incentives may be awarded based on factors including performance, leadership ability, attendance, communication, training effectiveness, team management, and overall store performance.
