We value our employees' well-being as a key component of our ongoing success. Job Summary The Retail Operations Lead supports daily dispensary operations across both sales and inventory functions. This is a cross-functional, hands-on role where team members are expected to operate across both front-of-house and back-of-house based on business needs. This role is expected to take ownership of assigned shifts and support overall store execution, stepping in where needed to maintain service, flow, and standards. Retail Operations Leads are expected to operate with a high level of professionalism, attention to detail, and accountability while contributing to a safe, compliant, and efficient store environment. Essential Functions Create a welcoming, professional environment where customers feel comfortable and informed Deliver strong customer service while supporting overall sales floor execution Communicate effectively with staff and customers to drive sales and service Maintain a working knowledge of products, categories, and customer preferences Ensure compliance with all California cannabis regulations and company policies Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and overall presentation Remain composed and professional during high-volume or high-pressure situations Support daily operations across both front-of-house and back-of-house as needed Utilize POS systems and retail tools effectively Take ownership of assigned shifts and support overall store execution Support both sales floor operations and inventory-related tasks based on business needs Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and daily logs Maintain accurate inventory practices and support cycle counts and audits Ensure product is properly stocked, labeled, and ready for sale Support onboarding and training of new team members Help resolve customer concerns in a professional and timely manner Communicate operational issues, discrepancies, and opportunities to leadership Maintain accountability to store standards, compliance, and expectations Follow all SOPs and compliance procedures across departments Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by leadership Qualification & Requirements High school diploma or GED 1-3 years of retail, cannabis, or customer service experience Must be 21+ and pass a background check Previous leadership or keyholder experience preferred Strong customer service and sales skills Basic computer skills (POS, Microsoft Office, Google Drive) Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment High level of accountability and professionalism Strong attention to detail and organization Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Adaptability and willingness to support all areas of the business Ability to stand and walk for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Frequent interaction with customers and team members Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment Work Environment Retail environment High volume - fast paced environment Team orientated Schedule Expectations Full-time Weekend availability required Evening shifts Major Holiday availability required ADA Compliance Statement Employees must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.
