CANDIDATES
WILL BE TESTED ON COLLISION ESTIMATING AND MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Shop Estimator / Manager to oversee the daily operations of a busy body shop. The ideal candidate will possess at least 4 years of
FULL TIME
experience with CCC Estimating Software. Management Software. Must be super-organized, pay attention to detail and be able to blue-print and repair plan all repair jobs. This role requires hands-on leadership, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. The Shop Manager will be responsible for managing a team of skilled technicians, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment. Duties Supervise daily shop operations, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Manage and mentor technicians, providing guidance on best practices in auto restoration and fabrication. Must have
EXCELLENT
customer relationship skills. Must be a great sales-person to capture customers. Coordinate workflow to optimize productivity while maintaining quality standards. Conduct regular inspections of work performed to ensure attention to detail in all projects. Maintain inventory of parts and supplies, making orders as necessary to keep operations running smoothly. Assist in mechanical repairs, including welding and sheet metal work as needed. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional development. Experience Proven experience in a shop management or supervisory role within the automotive industry. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in auto restoration, fabrication, and repair. Familiarity with dealership operations is preferred but not required. Ability to perform heavy lifting and operate various hand tools safely. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
