Overview We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead our retail sales team to new heights. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, enhancing customer satisfaction, and managing daily store operations with enthusiasm and strategic insight. Your leadership will inspire team members, foster a positive shopping environment, and ensure operational excellence across all facets of the store. This position offers an exciting opportunity to shape the customer experience while developing your managerial skills in a fast-paced retail setting. Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and supervise the retail sales team to achieve sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service. Develop and implement sales strategies, promotional activities, and merchandising plans to maximize store performance. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and product placement to optimize presentation and availability. Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills in sales techniques, POS systems, and customer engagement. Manage daily store operations including cash handling, cashiering, POS system troubleshooting, and operational procedures. Monitor store metrics such as sales figures, inventory levels, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with company policies on pricing, merchandising standards, health & safety regulations, and cash handling protocols. Experience Proven management experience in retail sales or a similar supervisory role within the retail industry. Strong background in sales management with expertise in negotiation, customer service, and team leadership. Demonstrated ability to recruit, interview, onboard new employees, and manage payroll & bookkeeping processes. Familiarity with inventory control systems, POS systems, purchasing procedures, and operational management tools. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable. Experience supervising retail staff in a fast-paced environment with a focus on retail math, budgeting, and merchandising strategies. Prior assistant manager or managerial experience in retail stores is preferred; knowledge of retail industry trends is a plus.
