Job Description
R&B Tea is looking for a responsible, motivated, and hands-on Store Manager to lead our team and oversee the daily operations of the store. The Store Manager is responsible for building a strong team, maintaining excellent customer service and product quality, controlling labor and inventory costs, and ensuring the store operates efficiently and profitably. This is a hands-on position—the manager is expected to lead by example and work alongside the team when needed. Key Responsibilities Store Operations Oversee all day-to-day store operations. Ensure proper opening and closing procedures are followed. Maintain R&B Tea recipes, drink quality, presentation, and service standards. Ensure the store is clean, organized, stocked, and ready for business. Monitor equipment and coordinate maintenance or repairs when necessary. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company policies. Handle cash management, deposits, POS procedures, and daily reports. Team Management Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train employees. Create and manage weekly employee schedules. Maintain appropriate staffing while controlling labor costs. Coach employees and provide ongoing feedback. Conduct employee performance reviews. Address attendance, performance, and workplace concerns promptly. Develop strong employees into future Shift Leads and managers. Build a positive, respectful, and accountable team culture. Inventory & Cost Control Manage inventory counts and product ordering. Maintain appropriate inventory levels without over-ordering. Monitor ingredient usage, waste, and product loss. Control food/product and labor costs. Ensure deliveries are received and stored properly. Communicate inventory or supply issues to management. Customer Experience Create a welcoming and friendly environment for every guest. Ensure employees provide consistent and professional customer service. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues appropriately. Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities for improvement. Build relationships with regular customers and the local community. Sales & Community Building R&B Tea wants each store to become part of its local community. The Store Manager should actively help increase store awareness, traffic, and sales.
