Oversee daily operations including inventory management, sales strategies, and customer service excellence. Maintain the store's visual standards, ensuring that displays are attractive and products are well-stocked. Implement effective landscape maintenance practices to enhance the store's outdoor areas. Manage scheduling and training for staff to foster a knowledgeable team focused on customer satisfaction. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors to ensure quality products and timely deliveries. Monitor financial performance through sales reports and adjust strategies as necessary to meet goals. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the store environment. Requirements (Recommendations) Landscape and/or Building Materials Experience is recommended Store manager experience recommended Retail experience recommended English/Spanish bi lingual Strong knowledge of garden care, irrigation systems, artificial turf, hardscape, tree care, lawn care, and general landscape maintenance practices. Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and basic computer applications for inventory management. A passion for gardening and landscaping is highly desirable. Must be able to work flexible hours including weekends (Saturdays) as needed.
