As a Shop Manager, you will oversee day-to-day dispensary operations, support and manage staff, maintain compliance with Colorado cannabis regulations, and create a welcoming shopping experience that encourages trust and loyalty. Your leadership, professionalism, and cannabis knowledge will help drive store performance while promoting responsible consumption and outstanding customer experiences. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide personalized assistance to meet their needs Educate customers on product details, effects, and usage instructions through engaging product demonstrations Assist with product selection by understanding customer preferences and recommending suitable options Oversee daily dispensary operations, ensuring efficient workflow and exceptional customer service Lead, train, and support budtender staff while fostering a positive team environment Ensure compliance with all Colorado cannabis regulations, store policies, and age verification requirements Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and credit card processing Monitor inventory levels, conduct inventory checks, and coordinate stock replenishment Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the sales floor remains clean, professional, and fully stocked Assist with scheduling, opening/closing procedures, and daily operational responsibilities Address customer concerns professionally and resolve issues in a timely manner Maintain excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or communicating with vendors Qualifications & Skills Must have valid Colorado MED badge Prior experience working in the cannabis industry is required Previous managerial or retail leadership experience is required Proven experience in retail sales, customer service, or dispensary operations preferred Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team Extensive knowledge of cannabis products, consumption methods, and responsible use practices Familiarity with Colorado cannabis compliance regulations and dispensary operations Experience with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and inventory management Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for sales transactions and inventory tracking Knowledge of merchandising techniques to create attractive displays that drive sales Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm in a fast-paced environment Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve a diverse customer base effectively Strong phone etiquette and professional communication skills Join us in creating an inviting, compliant, and customer-focused environment where guests feel confident exploring our cannabis offerings.
