This role works closely with the Store Manager to create an exceptional customer experience, support and develop the store team, drive sales, and ensure consistent execution of store standards. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working alongside the team, connecting with customers, and keeping the store organized, productive, and running smoothly. This position serves as a key leader in the store and assumes responsibility for store operations when the Store Manager is not present. Key Responsibilities Store Operations Support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring consistent execution of company standards. Open and close the store according to company procedures, including cash handling and end-of-day responsibilities. Maintain a clean, organized, well-stocked, and welcoming store environment. Ensure products are properly merchandised, labeled, stocked, and displayed. Monitor inventory levels and communicate replenishment or product needs. Identify and resolve day-to-day operational or customer concerns. Serve as the manager on duty when the Store Manager is unavailable. Sales & Customer Experience Provide an engaging, knowledgeable, and personalized customer experience. Lead by example in product recommendations, selling behaviors, and customer service. Support achievement of daily, weekly, and monthly store sales goals. Coach team members on product knowledge, customer engagement, and sales techniques. Monitor store performance throughout the day and help the team adjust priorities to drive results. Build customer loyalty through strong relationships and consistently positive experiences. Team Leadership & Development Provide day-to-day direction, coaching, and support to store employees. Help create a positive, accountable, and team-focused work environment. Support new employee onboarding and training. Provide real-time coaching and feedback to reinforce expectations and recognize strong performance. Assist the Store Manager with employee scheduling and coverage needs. Help ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, safety standards, and expectations. Previous supervisory, key holder, shift lead, or retail management experience preferred. Strong customer service and relationship-building skills. Ability to coach, motivate, and provide direction to others. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Comfortable working toward sales goals and performance expectations. Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced, hands-on retail environment. Comfortable learning and using point-of-sale and business management systems.
