helicopter services. We deliver and coordinate a continuum of high-quality healthcare with the goal of improving the health of our communities. Job Summary Manages and operates the Backus Hospital Gift Shop & Boutique. Orders, displays, sells merchandise, inventory control, training, and supervising volunteers, creating and analyzing periodic sales reports, handling daily receipts, and maintaining accurate financial records. Promote positive customer relations utilizing the HHC H3W Leadership behaviors. Qualifications Education High school diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred. Experience Minimum of five (5) years in buying, merchandise and retail sales; ability to predict and monitor trends. Eight (8) years of experience preferred. Active participant in vendor buying programs Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements Working knowledge of office business equipment. Excellent interpersonal skills necessary to communicate with departments, employees, physicians and managers. Ability to read and understand oral and written instructions. Must be organized, flexible and a team player. Strong customer service orientation. Requires the ability to exercise discretion and use good judgment to perform duties promptly and consistently with little direction. Requires the ability to recognize problem situations and refer them to the appropriate staff member. We take great care of careers.
