Job Description

Description Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Chefs in the daily operations of the kitchen, including working on the line during service times.
  • Assist in ordering supplies and ingredients, maintaining inventory levels, and ensuring that all products are of the highest quality.
  • Work closely with the Chefs to manage groups and special dinners, ensuring that all culinary needs are met and exceeded.
  • Manage labor effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards at all times.
  • Ensure that all kitchen equipment is in proper working order and report any issues to the Chefs for prompt resolution.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures for the kitchen, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to excellence.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 1 years of experience in a kitchen leadership role, preferably in a resort or fine dining setting.
  • Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, food safety, and kitchen management.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and consistency.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
