Description Responsibilities:
Provide guests with the highest level of customer service.
Maintain awareness of security in all shops.
Keep track of, account for and replenish all clothing, souvenirs, etc.; stock merchandise, logging all items received, damaged and transferred for end of month inventory count.
Handle all complaints and problems that may occur in a courteous and professional manner.
Complete and submit all paperwork that is due on a daily, weekly, or monthly to the Retail Manager.
Ensure proper pricing of merchandise.
Oversee cashiers' variances solving transactions and mistakes, and audit cashier banks.
Maintain a smooth selling floor.
Ensure employees are implementing store promotions and sales contests.
Ensure all "Specialty Brand" programs are followed and standards upheld.
Responsible for store replenishment of goods; including buying to realistic ROS (rate of sale), following sales and turnover goals, creating purchase orders and paying invoices.
Assist with monthly inventory.
Complete and issue timely evaluations for subordinates.
Conduct formal and informal training for subordinates.
Conduct formal and informal coaching and counseling with subordinates.
Reward and recognize superior performers.
Ensure that employees work safely and follow all safety rules.
Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry and competition.
Ensure effective communication within the department and company.
Hold subordinates accountable for established performance expectations.
Motivate and develop staff; provide advice and guidance as appropriate.
Comply with and enforce compliance with the company's recycling program standards.
Carry out daily directives given by the Retail Manager and/or Assistant Retail Manager
Interviews, selects, hires and retains superior employees
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work Environment:
Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and nights as scheduled

Education
High School (required)
Experience
2 years: Retail supervisory experience preferred. (preferred)
Must possess good math skills. (required)
Must possess computer proficiency with Microsoft Word. (required)
Must possess good oral and written communication skills. (required)
Must possess good customer service and leadership skills. (required)
Must be able to solve problems and deal with a variety of situations. (required)
Must be able to successfully pass a background check. (required)
Must be able to speak, read and write English (required)
