Position Summary Support the overall success of a resale retail store specializing in gently used teen and young adult clothing and accessories. Assist in managing buying, pricing, merchandising, sales performance, inventory control, loss prevention, and team leadership. Deliver exceptional customer service while staying current on fashion trends and resale market demand. Major Areas of ResponsibilityCustomer Experience & Shift Leadership Lead assigned shifts and set the tone for a friendly, upbeat, fashion-forward environment. Ensure every customer is greeted immediately and assisted in a professional and enthusiastic manner. Resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively. Coach team members to deliver high-level customer service standards. Buying & Resale Operations Evaluate and purchase gently used clothing and accessories according to store buying guidelines and current trends. Educate customers on the buy process and explain pricing decisions clearly and confidently. Reinforce customer purchases and encourage repeat selling and shopping visits. Stay knowledgeable about current teen and young adult fashion trends, brands, and seasonal demand. Sales & Merchandising Maintain strong product knowledge of brands, styles, and pricing. Recommend items based on customer style, fit, and preferences. Maximize sales through suggestive selling and add-on techniques. Price and ticket merchandise accurately. Restock sales floor according to merchandising standards. Maintain visually appealing, organized displays that reflect current trends. Ensure fitting rooms and sales floor remain clean and inviting. Store Operations & Loss Prevention Perform opening and closing procedures including key control, cash handling, and securing the store. Operate POS system efficiently for sales, buys, returns, and exchanges. Monitor inventory movement and assist with shrink prevention. Maintain compliance with company policies and operational procedures. Team Development Assist in training and supervising staff. Provide coaching and constructive feedback. Promote teamwork, accountability, and goal achievement. Lead by example in professionalism, reliability, and energy. Qualifications Previous retail experience required; resale or fashion retail preferred. Leadership experience or demonstrated ability to lead a team. Strong knowledge of teen and young adult fashion brands and trends. Sales-driven with the ability to meet and exceed goals. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong multitasking and time management abilities. High level of responsibility and integrity. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours). Ability to lift and/or push up to 40 lbs. (with assistance when needed). Frequent bending, reaching, and movement associated with merchandising and processing inventory. Comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment. Ability to operate a computerized POS system. Avability Must have flexible availabilty
