Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven General Manager to lead our retail operations with enthusiasm and strategic vision. Duties Lead and supervise all store operations, including sales, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service initiatives Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and improve overall store performance Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing retail team with strong management skills Manage payroll, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accurate financial transactions Oversee purchasing decisions, pricing strategies, inventory control, and stock replenishment to maximize profitability Implement employee orientation programs and ongoing training to enhance team skills and operational knowledge Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer concerns promptly and professionally Conduct regular shift management, supervise cashiering activities, and ensure compliance with safety policies Utilize strong negotiation skills for vendor relations and purchasing negotiations Monitor store metrics using retail math principles to analyze sales data and optimize store operations Experience Proven managerial experience in retail store management or related leadership roles with a focus on sales team supervision Demonstrated success in recruiting, training, and developing retail staff in a fast-paced environment Extensive knowledge of retail industry sales strategies, inventory management systems (POS), merchandising, and operational procedures Experience with budgeting, financial reporting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and cash handling procedures Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customer bases and team members Strong organizational skills combined with excellent communication skills for managerial communication and team leadership Prior experience in grocery or general retail stores is advantageous but not mandatory Familiarity with retail math calculations related to pricing, sales analysis, and inventory control is essential Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through effective time management practices Join us as a General Manager to lead our vibrant retail environment!
