Manage inventory levels through purchasing, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism and resolve issues promptly to ensure high satisfaction. Oversee cash handling procedures, POS (Point of Sale) systems, and cashiering activities with accuracy. Implement marketing strategies to promote products and increase store foot traffic. Maintain organized records of payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and administrative tasks. Requirements Proven experience as an Assistant Manager or in a supervisory role within a grocery or retail environment. Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a diverse team effectively. Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual abilities are a plus. Demonstrated expertise in inventory management, purchasing, pricing strategies, and retail math. Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and retail sales operations. Solid understanding of store management principles including merchandising, stock control, and marketing. Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently with excellent time management skills. Experience in employee orientation, interviewing new staff, training & development programs.
