A Retail Store Manager manages a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.
The store manager's primary goal is to improve sales and create a positive guest experience. The store manager will work with the area manager through inventory management and control, team members' support, and development of product knowledge, upsell tactics, and data analytics to improve overall store performance.
Responsibilities:
Leadership Responsibilities:
Training, developing, and aligning up to 25+ Team members.
Sales Expertise:
Responsible for improving sales month over month. Working with marketing and procurement teams to promote sales, increasing revenue.
Inventory Control:
Reducing product shrinkage by reducing aging inventory/inventory expirations, understanding your inventory par levels, and sell-throughs.
Compliance:
Understanding Florida compliance requirements to confidently walk through state inspections, reducing deficiencies. What Success Looks Like Improving sales consistently month over month. Team education on expected sales metrics. Reducing aging and expiring products.

Retail Leads Budtenders BOH Clerks Qualifications:
1-2 years in the cannabis industry Leadership background, for large teams; cannabis leadership a plus. Experience in sales preferred Must be 21+
Physical Requirements:
Sitting, standing, walking, and climbing for long periods of time.
Work Environment:
The environment can be loud
Atmosphere & Pace:
Fast-paced and energetic. The floor features specialized product displays (flower, edibles, concentrates). Staff must be adaptable to busy rushes, as wait times and long lines are common during peak hours
