Job Description
Job Summary / Objective Job Summary / Objective Supervises day-to-day operations and production schedules, quality of product, shop organization, and cleanliness. Carries out Roswell company policies in accordance with applicable laws. Essential Job Functions and Duties Supervisory Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Initiates or suggests plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals. Planning and organizing daily department production schedules Ensure KPI reporting POC for production team members Assessing project and resource requirements and reporting deficits to the Plant Manager. Estimating, negotiating, and agreeing on timescales with stakeholders (Production staff) Strive to reduce expenses and increase productivity Ensuring health and safety regulations are met Oversight of quality control standards Oversight of production processes Organizing the repair and routine maintenance of production equipment Supervising the work of junior staff Provide motivation, support, and guidance to all employees Organizing relevant training sessions Communicate any problems or obstacles to management Troubleshoot composite issues, both internally and externally, and report to the Plant Manager. Assist with the creation of work instructions Strive for continuous improvement in efficiency and quality Product and process testing and implementation Back all production areas within the department when needed to ensure efficient workflow Required Experience 10+ years of experience in Composites Manufacturing and/or Composites Industry Recommended 5+ years in a supervisory capacity Working Knowledge of OSHA and EPA regulations Strong working knowledge of composite chemistry Leadership and interpersonal skills Strong project management skills Strong working knowledge of lien fundamentals Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred Working knowledge of ERP/MRP software Ability to coach and mentor employees on a one-on-one basis, as well as in a group setting Proficient in Google Drive and/or Microsoft Office Problem-Solving Teamwork Strong communication skills Work Schedule / Travel / Additional Requirements Normal shop hours are Monday
- Thursday 6:00AM
- 4:30PM. The company office hours are Monday Friday, 8AM
- 4:30PM, this position will spend the time necessary to accomplish work goals production hours Background
- Acceptable background check for new hires.
