In this energetic role, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure exceptional customer experiences. Your proactive approach will help optimize sales, maintain inventory accuracy, and foster a motivated team dedicated to excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your management expertise while making a tangible impact in a fast-paced retail setting. Duties Lead and supervise store staff to ensure smooth daily operations, including shift management and team coordination Drive retail sales through effective merchandising, upselling, and promotional strategies Manage inventory control, stock replenishment, purchasing, and pricing to maximize profitability Oversee cashiering activities, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency Conduct employee orientation, training & development sessions to enhance team skills and performance Implement marketing initiatives to attract customers and boost store visibility within the community Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Requirements Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with supervising responsibilities Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and develop team members Proficiency in retail math, budgeting, payroll processing, bookkeeping, and sales management tools Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases Experience with inventory management systems, POS technology, merchandising, and stock control Exceptional communication skills along with strong negotiation and customer service expertise Demonstrated ability in recruiting, interviewing, training staff, and managing employee performance Knowledge of retail sales strategies including pricing, marketing, wireless sales (if applicable), and store management best practices Organizational skills for overseeing store operations such as stocking, merchandising, and administrative tasks This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to grow their career in retail management while delivering outstanding service.
