In this vital role, you will serve as a trusted leader on the sales floor, ensuring smooth store operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting team management. Your energetic approach and leadership skills will help foster a positive shopping environment while maintaining inventory accuracy, sales goals, and store standards. Responsibilities Act as a key holder by opening and closing the store securely, ensuring all procedures are followed Lead daily store operations including cash handling, POS transactions, and customer service excellence Supervise and motivate team members to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding service Manage inventory control through stocking, merchandising, purchasing, and inventory management systems Assist with employee orientation, training & development to foster a knowledgeable and engaged team Oversee scheduling, shift management, and ensure efficient time management across the store Conduct recruiting activities such as interviewing candidates and onboarding new employees Handle customer inquiries with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills Support marketing initiatives and promotional displays to boost sales and brand visibility Maintain store cleanliness, organization, and adherence to safety policies including cash handling procedures Qualifications Proven supervisory or assistant manager experience in retail or grocery stores with supervising responsibilities Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a positive work environment Excellent communication skills in multiple languages; bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued Demonstrated proficiency in retail math, pricing strategies, sales management, and merchandising techniques Experience with POS systems, cash handling, bookkeeping, payroll processing, and inventory control Knowledge of retail sales techniques including negotiation, upselling, and customer service excellence Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently with strong organizational skills and time management abilities Familiarity with wireless sales or grocery store operations is a plus but not required A proactive attitude towards training & development of staff and continuous Spanish/ Bilingual improvement initiatives Join us in creating an energetic shopping experience where teamwork meets excellence!
