Leadership & Team Development Lead, coach, and develop an in-store team focused on performance, accountability, and customer experience Recruit, onboard, and train new employees Foster a positive, team-oriented culture with high standards and strong communication Conduct team meetings and communicate company goals, expectations, and updates Store Operations Oversee daily store operations and ensure company standards are consistently executed Manage scheduling, workflow, and operational efficiency Monitor store performance, sales trends, and key metrics Ensure accurate cash handling and POS operations Customer Experience Deliver an exceptional customer experience for collectors, hobbyists, and new customers alike Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently Create an engaging and welcoming environment that reflects the Waxxed brand Inventory & Merchandising Oversee inventory management, pricing strategies, and product replenishment Maintain organized and visually appealing merchandising displays Assist with high-value inventory handling and product knowledge training Marketing & Events Post social media content weekly to promote products, events, and store activity Support and execute store events, trade nights, promotions, and company initiatives Help grow local community engagement and brand awareness Required Qualifications 3+ years of Retail Management and/or Retail Operations experience Strong knowledge of Sports Cards, Pokémon, TCG, and/or Comics. Proven leadership experience managing and motivating teams Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable using POS systems and inventory management tools Availability to work evenings, Saturdays, and special events as needed Preferred Traits Extensive knowledge of Sports Cards which include comping and buying. Passion for the hobby and collector community Sales-driven mindset with strong business acumen Self-starter with the ability to lead independently Social media familiarity and confidence engaging with customers online Schedule Full-Time Physical Requirements Standing and walking for extended periods Lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs Repetitive motions, bending, and reaching Ability to operate a computer and POS system for extended periods Ability to perform basic math and follow multi-step processes accurately Why Join?
