Madison's on Main is looking for a hands-on, people-focused Boutique Retail Store Manager to oversee our Toccoa and Clarkesville, Georgia locations. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves fashion, customer service, team leadership, community, and creating a beautiful in-store experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, coachable, energetic, and excited to help grow two local boutique locations while leading a team and supporting day-to-day store operations. This role will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 6-10 employees, supporting sales goals, maintaining store standards, helping with in-store marketing efforts, and ensuring both locations reflect Madison's on Main's values of southern hospitality, community, and style. The Toccoa location also includes a shipping station, so this manager will be responsible for ensuring shipping tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.

Position Summary The Boutique Retail Store Manager is responsible for the overall success of both the Toccoa and Clarkesville locations. This role combines leadership, customer service, sales performance, merchandising, operations, and team development. The Store Manager will help ensure the customer and employee experience reflect Madison's on Main's standards of hospitality, style, professionalism, and community connection. This person will be expected to lead by example on the sales floor, coach and develop the team, support visual standards, manage schedules, monitor performance, and help create an environment where customers feel welcomed and employees feel supported. This position also has growth potential for someone who is eager to learn front-of-store merchandising, displays, and boutique presentation. A strong candidate will be excited to develop their eye for styling, product placement, seasonal displays, and the overall look and feel of the store. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, train, and develop store team members across both locations. Manage a team of approximately 6-10 employees. Support hiring, onboarding, accountability, and performance conversations. Drive sales by creating a strong customer experience and coaching the team on service, styling, and add-on selling. Monitor store sales performance, goals, and daily priorities. Manage employee schedules and help ensure proper store coverage. Manage deposits and basic store operating responsibilities. Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, organization, and brand standards. Support visual merchandising, front displays, seasonal floor sets, and product presentation. Assist with in-store marketing efforts, promotions, events, collection launches, and local customer engagement. Build relationships with customers and the local community. Partner with leadership on store strategy, goals, staffing, and operational needs. Ensure Madison's on Main's Mission and Vision are reflected in daily decisions, leadership, and customer experience. Support the Toccoa shipping station by ensuring shipping tasks are completed correctly and on time. Maintain strong communication with leadership and team members. Uphold reliability, consistency, and professionalism in all scheduled shifts. Toccoa Shipping Responsibilities Because the Toccoa location includes a shipping station, this manager will help oversee shipping-related responsibilities, including: Ensuring orders and shipping tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Helping keep the shipping area organized and functional. Following company standards for packaging, accuracy, and timeliness. Communicating any shipping delays, issues, or supply needs to leadership. Supporting team members who assist with shipping tasks. Balancing shipping responsibilities with store leadership and customer experience. Requirements Previous retail, boutique, customer service, sales, or management experience preferred. Ability to lead and motivate a small team. Strong communication and follow-through. Dependable, punctual, and consistent. Comfortable working between both Toccoa and Clarkesville locations. Weekend availability required based on business needs. Ability to support store events, promotions, and in-store marketing efforts. Strong eye for presentation, organization, and customer experience. Willingness to learn merchandising, displays, and brand presentation. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced retail environment. Must complete ongoing training and maintain brand awareness. Time-off requests must be submitted in advance and approved based on store needs.
