Job Description

This job is only for people who want to learn, can work as a team and can handle constructive criticism to become BETTER. You have to show compassion and have experience working with adults with developmental disabilities , not family members but an agency. Reference will be checked! Monday-Friday from 3-11, Training Thursday bi-weekly . The first shift manager will be responsible for making sure the first shift DSP's do not call out on Saturday and Sunday from 8am-8pm. If the first shift manager has a call out, they are responsible for finding staff coverage or will have to report to work. This manager should always have his/her schedule available to be prepared for call outs. The first shift manager will always be responsible for any first shift employees. You are the leader of this shift, you will be the only person responsible for call outs, no exceptions. DUTIES Every Monday you will have an inspection with your Compliance Manager. You will monitor all documentation and make sure it is correct at all times. You must be a quick learner to become familiar with Therap programming system. Excellent computer and communication skills. Work on all the ISP goals and community outings for the individuals Increase family involvement if possible Make sure all ADL's are complete at the end of every shift Make sure all medication is administered to the correct individuals and MARS are initialed daily, you are always responsible for making sure medication is double locked and MAR matched the bubble pack. Your medical case manager will assist with all medication. Grocery shopping for the house will be done every Monday. You will have a weekly meeting with your individuals to make sure grocery list matches their needs. The 1st shift manager and 2nd shift manager must communicate all issues to make sure the needs of the individuals supported are always met. (Communication book will be at the home for the 1st and 2nd shift manager) Must
BE ABLE TO READ, WRITE AND WORK A COMPUTER.

They will inspect your paperwork and the cleanliness of the environment. Make sure the home is inspection ready. You will monitor all documentation and make sure it is correct at all times. You must be a quick learner to become familiar with Therap programming system. Excellent computer and communication skills Make sure all ADL's are complete at the end of every shift, this includes body, teeth and feet are always clean. 1st shift will schedule and submit every 25th of the month to Compliance Manager Prepare outings for the month for weekend and weekday outings. Check refrigerator and water temperature daily Make sure home is fully of grocery and supplies Inspect the needs of the peope we support (underclothes, shirts, pants, jackets, shoes, etc).Report what is needed HRST tracking daily Understanding how to use Jot Form, training, how to report incidents and work orders Prepare severe weather and fire drills Keep the financial $65.00 book correctly Turning in all receipts to company debit card for grocery and supplies '
