Job Details Click to go Back to Job Listings Sep 10, 2026, 11:56:36 AM HST Title of Position Supervisor, Sterile Processing Department Work Hours Regular Full-Time (Req# 2026-314) Position is exempt. Normal working hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with 24-hour on-call status 7-days a week. Periodically extended hours or a modified schedule may be required. Must be flexible on work hours. Subsidiary Kuakini Medical Center Description of Position Responsible for Sterile Processing Departmental operations and ensures the execution of department functions and services in accordance with established policies, standards and regulatory requirements. Directly supervises staff and monitors and evaluates their performance. Assists with budgeting, planning, provisioning and projects as directed by management. Qualifications and Requirements Requires minimum three (3) years experience in sterile processing required, including preparing and assembling sets, disinfecting and decontaminating procedures, and surgical preference cards/lists in a hospital or surgical center. Requires Certification as a Central Service Technician (CRCST) or Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician (CSPDT) or qualifications to attain the certification within six (6) months of commencing the job. An Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a healthcare field is preferred. A combination of education and experience which would provide the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to meet the minimum qualifications to perform the essential functions of this position may be considered. Management or supervisory experience is preferred.
