Assistant Store Manager

Oko'a Farms is looking for Assistant Store Managers in Training who lead from the floor, care deeply about local food, and believe an exceptional store experience starts with an exceptional team. You'll begin your journey at our established Kulamalu store, training side-by-side with experienced leaders for up to 12 weeks before stepping into a management role at either our current location or our brand-new Wailea store. What Your Days Look Like No two days are the same—but they're always hands-on, fast-paced, and food-filled.

You'll:

Help lead daily store operations and keep the floor running smoothly Receive and stock 1-2 pallets of ultra-fresh, locally grown produce each day Jump in anywhere—registers, bagging, stocking, merchandising, problem-solving Train, coach, and support team members through example and encouragement Create a welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly customer experience Support merchandising and displays that make food look as good as it tastes Help with inventory flow, order fulfillment, and freshness standards Communicate clearly with store leadership to keep everyone aligned What We're Looking For You don't have to know everything—but you do need to love learning and leading. 2+ years of retail management experience Strong knowledge of locally grown produce (this is a must) A calm, confident presence in a busy environment Excellent communication and people skills A team-first mindset and strong work ethic Passion for food, produce, and great service Ability to lift 50-60 lbs and stay active throughout the day Comfort working in coolers and varied environments Why You'll Love Working Here Starting pay of $25/hour+, depending on experience Full-time, stable schedule Medical & dental benefits Employee discount on amazing food Paid, hands-on leadership training Opportunity to help open and shape our Wailea store from day one A culture that values kindness, integrity, accountability, and doing things the right way
