An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Toastique is a growing lifestyle brand serving quick, wholesome food and beverages. We are hiring a hands-on Assistant Manager to help open Idaho's first location in Eagle. You work the floor every shift and know every station. You also own daily operations and help lead the team. We are looking for someone who takes pride in fostering an upbeat, efficient, community-minded workplace where the team works with energy and guests feel welcomed. Responsibilities
  • Prep and serve toast, bowls, smoothies, juices, and coffee; run the register
  • Educate guests on our food and its benefits
  • Open and close to standard, complete checklists, and maintain cleanliness to standard
  • Own scheduling, inventory, and food/labor cost; flag issues to the GM
  • Hire, train, and coach the team; uphold Toastique standards and keep the team accountable
  • Handle guest issues and deliver on our commitment to quality food and genuine hospitality to our community
  • Partner with GM on growth, events, and standards Requirements
  • 2+ years restaurant management experience
Full-time:
open/close, weekends, some holidays
  • Food Handler's certification (training provided)
  • 4 weeks paid training in Washington D.C.
  • Strong work ethic, servant leadership, dependable, organized, calm under pressure, and punctual
  • Able to work every station, lift 50 lbs, and stand a full shift Preferred
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
  • College education in Business or Hospitality Compensation & Benefits
  • $39,000 - $46,000 DOE + performance bonus
