Job Description

The Ski & Snowboard Tune and Repair Supervisor oversees the tune and repair team, ensuring efficient maintenance of the resort's rental fleet and high-quality guest services. A key focus of the role is maximizing the capabilities of the world-class Wintersteiger Jupiter automated tuning machine to enhance efficiency, quality, and overall service delivery.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Hire, train, and schedule tuners; manage all aspects of their work. Order tools, parts, and supplies necessary to maintain the rental fleet and guest tunes. Manage daily tune and repair services. Satisfy all annual indemnification agreements, including hosting clinics for rental staff and administering binding testing for resort employees. Maintain tuning machines and ski and snowboard rental fleet. Identify future needs for the operation, including participating in machine acquisition. Stay current with the industry tune and repair procedures and best practices. Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Previous supervisory, ski tuning, and experience using Wintersteiger tuning machines strongly preferred. Excellent customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, RTP, and other related computer systems. Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varying a schedule, including weekends, holidays, and early or late shifts. Ability to engage in physical activities like standing for long periods, walking, bending or crouching, and utilizing hands for tasks that involve gripping, handling, and reaching. Can regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Valid U.S. driver's license required.
