Hours Per Week Day Shift:

Monday thru Friday (with flexibility to meet team needs) Support team members through regular check ins & coaching Coordinate & manage staff scheduling to meet operational needs Monitor budget performance & identify variances Clearly explain expectations, goals, and changes while actively listening to employees Oversee daily department operations to ensure efficient workflow Also lead people, develop staff, solve problems, communicate clearly, and create an environment where employees can succeed

Experience:

Prior Leadership, Charge, or Supervisor experience Registered MRI Required If you have experience in one of the following areas, you could be a good fit: MR, magnetic resonance imaging,

ARRT, ARMRIT, MR, Siemens MRI Machines, Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist, MRI Tech, MRI Radiographer, Imaging Services Manager, MRI Imaging Operations Supervisor, Lead MRI Technologist, MRI Tech Coordinator, Special Imaging Coordinator, Senior MRI Technologist Requirements:

Associate's Degree or Trade School equivalency (or higher level of education) MR Certification At least 2 years of relevant experience Some leadership, charge, or supervisor experience required Overview Since 1937, Alton Memorial Hospital has cared for residents in Alton, Illinois, and the surrounding communities in a five-county area. Starting as a land gift to the community from the Smith family, Alton Memorial today is a full-service acute care hospital. Alton Memorial offers patients a variety of inpatient and outpatient services, including surgery services, medical imaging, interventional and diagnostic heart services, cancer care, rehabilitation, 24-hour emergency care, ambulance services and more. Twin Rivers MRI is located within Alton Memorial Hospital. Twin Rivers has some of the newest technology available today, and is one of three in the St. Louis and IL metro region to house a 3.0 Tesla MRI unit. This MRI unit is a powerful imaging system Preferred Qualifications Role Purpose Responsible for supervising the day-to-day operations of a MRI, CT, Interventional Radiology, or Mammography Department. Responsibilities Manages individual(s) including but not limited to: hires, trains, assigns work, manages & evaluates performance, conducts professional development plans. Ensures that the productivity and actions of that group meet/support the overall operational goals of the department as established by department leadership. Monitors and organizes department resources to maximize productivity and ensure optimal patient outcomes. Serves as liaison between staff and physicians. Evaluates the care and testing delivered and intervenes appropriately to ensure optimal patient outcomes. May participate in the development of departmental staffing, revenue and/or expense budgets and having direct responsibility for adhering to those goals. This includes responding to changes in the business which may affect the ability to achieve the budget goals. Ensures department's readiness/preparedness for all regulatory body inspections or certifications (i.e., TJC, State, ACR, ICCS, etc.) Ensures appropriate staffing levels are achieved and has the ability/licensure to step into staff Advanced Technologist role, as needed. BJC has determined this is a safety-sensitive position. The ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is an essential function of this job.
