Description The Assistant Manager creates a memorable customer experience by providing fast, friendly service and consistent, quality products. This role is responsible for performing all job duties in a manner consistent with current company processes and procedures and maintaining all food safety and sanitation standards. Position Overview We are seeking a dependable and motivated Assistant Manager to help oversee daily operations at our drive thru coffee shop. The Assistant Manager will support the Regional Manager in leading a team of approximately 15 employees, ensuring excellent customer service, smooth store operations, and achievement of key performance goals. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Development Lead, motivate, and coach a team of ~15 employees to deliver excellent service. Conduct interviews, hire, and train new staff members. Provide ongoing employee performance reviews and feedback. Create, manage, and adjust weekly staff schedules to ensure proper coverage. Operations Management Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and compliance with company standards. Monitor and achieve store performance metrics, including sales, labor, and service targets. Ensure store is stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Manage and coordinate preventive maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime. Customer Experience Maintain a positive and professional atmosphere for both customers and employees. Ensure quality standards are consistently met in product preparation and service. Handle customer concerns and resolve issues quickly and effectively. Financial & Administrative Support the Owner with inventory control, ordering, and cost management. Track, report, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs). Ensure adherence to company policies, health codes, and safety procedures. Qualifications Previous supervisory or management experience in food service or retail preferred. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team. Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
