Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Manager to join our team at our Morton, United States location (11 E. Jackson St.). As an Assistant Manager, you will play a vital role in driving the success of our store operations while fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for both employees and customers. Lead and manage store operations during assigned shifts, ensuring efficiency, quality, and adherence to company standardsSupervise, train, and motivate team members while providing constructive feedback and support for their professional developmentInteract professionally and courteously with customers, addressing inquiries and concerns with empathy and a customer-focused approachHandle cash management, including processing transactions, reconciling registers, and maintaining accurate financial recordsAnswer phones, take orders, and manage customer communications in a friendly and efficient mannerMaintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment by overseeing cleaning duties and operational standardsAssist with inventory management, stock rotation, and supply ordering as neededResolve conflicts and challenges with a decisive yet collaborative approachCommunicate transparently with management regarding operational issues, employee performance, and customer feedbackPerform physical tasks including lifting up to 25 pounds and standing for extended periodsAnalyze store performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement and growthQualificationsProven leadership and team management experience in a fast-paced retail or food service environmentStrong math and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle financial transactions accuratelyExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teamsDemonstrated customer service excellence and a genuine commitment to customer satisfactionReliable, responsible, and detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilitiesAbility to multitask, prioritize effectively, and remain calm under pressureProficiency in cash handling and money managementPhysical capability to lift up to 25 pounds regularly and stand for extended periodsFriendly demeanor, positive attitude, and genuine enthusiasm for supporting team membersAbility to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as neededExperience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and basic computer skills (preferred)Conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities with a collaborative mindsetWillingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologiesAdditional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
