Position Summary The Assistant Sales Manager supports the office in driving agent success, retention, and growth. This role combines hands-on daily agent support with coaching, training, recruiting, and special projects at both the office and company level. The ideal candidate is a proactive relationship-builder who thrives on helping real estate agents solve problems, grow their skills, and stay engaged with the brokerage. Key Responsibilities Agent Coaching, Support & Retention Coach experienced agents to help them improve performance and navigate challenges
Provide transactional and paperwork assistance, general advice, and marketing guidance to agents
Attend agent broker tours, client events, and personal milestones to strengthen agent relationships and support retention Training Lead small-group training and business planning for new agents
Develop and deliver soft- and hard-skill training for all level agents, including creating new content (business generation, processes, rule updates, documentation) Recruiting Network with local agents to identify recruiting opportunities
Assist with new agent interview process Additional Partner with office staff on process improvement initiatives
Work with managers to enhance the overall agent experience
Assist in the planning and execution of monthly sales meetings
Support office parties, large trainings, and Good Will Works community events
Increasing ONE Company Support (mortgage, title, insurance)
Qualifications
Strong background in real estate sales, brokerage operations, or agent support
Must have an active Illinois Real Estate license
Excellent coaching, communication, and relationship-building skills
Comfortable presenting to groups and developing training content
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple ongoing priorities (daily, weekly, monthly, and as-needed tasks)
Experience with real estate platforms a plus
Collaborative mindset — works closely with managers, staff, and company teams Salary Range $50,000-$60,000 plus commission Benefits
