Beck Oil Company of Illinois is seeking a Store Manager in Training to lead IT-focused retail operations. In this role, you'll learn to oversee daily store activities, guide and coach staff, and ensure exceptional customer experiences for our innovative tech solutions. You'll support inventory control, scheduling, cash handling, and performance reporting while learning to drive sales and operational excellence. Collaborating with tech and operations teams, you'll gain hands-on leadership experience in a forward-thinking, inclusive culture focused on growth, learning, and work-life balance. Responsibilities Assist with and learn full-store operations management, including opening, closing, and daily cash handling Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and scheduling of store staff to meet service and sales goals Deliver high-quality customer service, resolving issues and ensuring a positive client experience Monitor inventory levels, coordinate replenishment, and maintain accurate stock records Use POS and reporting tools to track sales, KPIs, and operational performance Implement company policies, procedures, and compliance standards on site Collaborate with technology and operations teams to support IT-related products and services Participate in structured training and mentoring to progress into a full Store Manager role Ensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging work environment for all employees Contribute ideas to improve store efficiency, customer satisfaction, and team productivity Required Skills Retail operations management Customer service Team leadership Inventory management Point-of-sale systems Data analysis and reporting Scheduling and staffing Conflict resolution Training and coaching Basic IT literacy
