Role:
Manager in Training The Manager in Training (MIT) program is a steppingstone to becoming a Store Manager at Bomgaars. As a MIT, you'll work alongside experienced leaders, learning all aspects of store operations - including staffing, customer experience, and financial performance. This role is designed for high-potential team members who are ready to grow into leadership while embracing relocation opportunities as part of their career journey. What a Day in the
Life Looks Like:
Partner with store leadership to oversee daily operations, merchandising, and sales. Learn to coach, motivate, and develop team members. Provide outstanding customer service and resolve issues with professionalism. Participate in inventory management, safety compliance, and merchandising execution. Gain hands-on experience with payroll, scheduling, HR processes, and reporting systems.

Who We're Looking For:
At least 6-12 months of dependable retail experience with strong attendance and reliability. Willingness and ability to relocate for training and future store leadership roles. Demonstrated initiative, ownership, and follow-through on tasks and responsibilities. A positive, team-first attitude and ability to lead by example. Strong communication skills with customers, peers, and supervisors. You embody the Bomgaars CARES principles: Communication, Accountability, Responsiveness, Empathy, and Solution.
