Job Description

The Donation Manager supports store leadership in managing merchandise processing and daily retail operations, ensuring policies, procedures, and operational standards are consistently executed. Working closely with the Store Manager, you will drive operational efficiency, oversee staff performance, and help maintain a productive, customer-focused environment that delivers a high-quality shopping experience. Compensation:
$47,300
Responsibilities:
Communicate operational concerns to the Store Manager and District Manager, offering insights and recommendations, and collaborate on action plans to address issues Other duties as assigned by the supervisor Recruit, hire, train, and manage staff, ensuring compliance with company policies and holding team members accountable for performance and conduct Maintain a safe and secure environment by enforcing safety standards and actively preventing internal theft and shoplifting Oversee daily store operations to ensure smooth workflows and efficient coordination across all departments
Qualifications:
Adaptable, with the ability to adjust strategies in response to changing priorities and technology Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience Detail-oriented with a focus on tracking metrics, setting up systems, and ensuring smooth operations Experience using data to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement Experience managing production or donation operations in fast-paced settings, with a focus on system improvement and efficiency About Company At Goodwill Industries - Northern Indiana/Southern Michigan, our mission extends beyond providing job opportunities and community support.
