November 2025 Responsibilities of Manager include, but are not limited to: Leading & Coaching Your Assistant Managers and Barista Team Members Uphold core values of Integrity, Love, Courage and Humility at all times. Direct the barista station workflow and maintain quality and speed of service Hire and train store leadership for each store and facilitate the training of team members. Intentionally develop future leaders within the Dream Bean store system. Maintain confident, positive demeanor during stressful circumstances Manage store leadership and barista performance and build employee morale Coach and provide instruction to employees on a regular (daily) basis Hold team members accountable to all company policies and procedures Oversee and/or provide training to all new employees with assistance from Assistant Managers, Head Barista, and Shift Leads. Provide constant feedback to motivate and improve store and employee performance Conduct regular weekly team meetings with Assistant Managers Uphold team morale by discouraging drama and encouraging a strong team spirit Be available to answer employee calls/questions at all times Coach team members on what constitutes an emergency and what decisions should be handled without the need for a call to the management or ownership. Handle disciplinary action with employees as needed. Contact Store Owner immediately if an employee is not performing well and termination is necessary Paperwork Tasks & Meetings Scheduling
  • Maintain consistent store schedule. Schedule prepared on Homebase and communicated to store ownership by agreed upon day/time. Review labor guide (PowerBi) on a weekly basis and ensure scheduling is following labor guide. Ensure equipment is in working order and communicate any problems immediately. Inventory & Harvest Order
  • Conduct weekly inventory and submit product order as needed. Review COGs weekly and ensure product ordering is aligned with budget. Harvest Truck Delivery
  • Coordinate weekly delivery receiving and efficient storing of all product. Submit SCRC requests immediately and follow-up as needed. Deposits and Cash Handling
  • Make store deposits every Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Monitor daily cash overage/shortage and follow up with appropriate team members when necessary. Should be under no more than $10.00/month. Goal Setting
  • Submit store sales, team and item goals each month on shared sheet. Due on last day of previous month along with summary of that month's achievements related to goals. Receipt capture
  • Submit any invoices and credit card purchases using Dext. All cash payouts or atypical transactions using store cash should be texted to designated member of the management team. Interviewing, Training, & Hiring
  • Conduct interviews, and hire quality team members as needed Confirm New Hire information with HR coordinator, prior to first day of work behind the barista station including paperwork, availability, and bank information. Schedule & perform staff evaluations outside of the store as prompted by the HR coordinator. Work Email
  • Check work email address daily. Respond promptly (during your scheduled working hours) to emails from Corporate or Store Owners/Management team. Communicate important information to team members promptly. Meet with the Store Owner monthly
  • Use good judgment to determine when to contact store owner, outside of meetings and store visits, to assist with store or employee situations that may arise Bring any and all ideas regarding marketing initiatives, store sales growth opportunities, team building, paperwork questions, etc. to the monthly meeting Store Cleanliness Maintain clean store and friendly environment
  • ensure all deep cleaning and daily cleaning is handl ed by staff which includes, but is not limited to the following: Outside daily details: ensure trash is picked up from parking lot and yard, outside tables are arranged neatly and wiped down daily, weeds are pulled Inside daily details: front/side windows, and drive thru window are free of fingerprints, tables and chairs are clean, condiment station is neat, fridges are fully stocked, and clean, window sills in store are wiped down daily for bugs, walls and shelves are wiped down regularly Same Store Sales Growth Speed and Consistency•strive for under 30 second window times and the delivery of over 60 Smiles per Half Hour during peak times.
