An Assistant Retail Store Manager provides support to the Manager of a retail store, either an independent business or a store that is part of a large retail chain. May have primary responsibility for hiring and training retail sales staff. Reviews and monitors merchandise sales, inventory and prices, and directs advertising and promotions. Supervises sales, warehouse, cleaning, maintenance and security staff and prepares work schedules. Responsible for resolving customer complaints.

Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing proceduresManage and motivate team members to achieve performance goalsEnsure high-quality food preparation and timely deliveryHandle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionallyAssist in inventory management and supply orderingMaintain a clean and organized work environmentProcess customer orders accurately and efficientlyManage cash transactions and maintain financial recordsTrain and develop new team membersImplement and enforce company policies and proceduresCollaborate with the store manager to improve overall store performanceAssist in creating employee schedules and managing payrollQualificationsPrevious experience in food service or retail management preferredStrong leadership and team management skillsExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentProficiency in basic math and problem-solvingEffective time management and organizational skillsPhysical ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periodsFlexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysBasic computer skills for operating point-of-sale systems and managing digital ordersPositive attitude and enthusiasm for delivering great customer experiencesHigh school diploma or equivalent (Required)Food safety certification (Preferred)Valid driver's license (Preferred)Additional InformationWhat are we looking for? Assistant Manager:
- Experience leading a team; during your shift, you will manage a staff of anywhere from 3 to 15 people. You will need to use your stellar attitude and motivational skills to get them in the right place, at the right time and doing the right thing all while creating a great place to work.
- A clean driving record and the ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Record check. Safety is a priority for us and we want to make sure anyone we put on the road is safe to be there. You will also need access to reliable vehicle that is insured and have a valid driver's license
- A great role model - you're the person everyone will look to. From being on time for your shift, to having a great attitude to customers and co-workers and even how you dress - you have to have high standards for yourself and the rest of the team.
