Job Description

Position Type:
Full Time, 52 hours a week
Level/Salary Range:
Up to $55,000 per year depending on volume and experience. Bonus pay available

AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1.
Manage all aspects of the operation including retail, bagged feed and bulk feed. 2. Hire, train and manage the collective team including PT and FT employees 3. Drive sales to achieve strong comp profitable sales increases . 4. Maintain the facility and Equipment through consistent use of inspection checklists. Routine cleaning and maintenance is a top priority for the equipment and facility. 5. Lead with a positive can-do attitude and also leads by example to demonstrate desired behaviors. 6. Learn and then teach the operations of the POS system, merchandise ordering and bulk feed mixing. 7. Provide a customer friendly shopping and loading environment via merchandise being displayed well, priced and ready for convenient loading. Safety is a top priority. 8. Be able to operate a forklift, bulk feed equipment and lift 60#'s on a routine basis. 9. Perform administrative duties such as POS paperwork, bank deposits, weekly/monthly reports, etc. 10. Achieve financial success via a positive profit and loss statement, controlled expenses and shrink controls.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS HS
diploma, management experience, farm retail and/or farm experience preferred
PREFERRED SKILLS
Microsoft Excel, Word and some computer skills necessary
ADDITIONAL NOTES A POSITIVE ATTITUDE, STRONG WORK ETHIC AND ABILITY TO MANAGE A TEAM IS KEY TO THIS POSITION!
