Job Description
Safely and efficiently load, unload, move, and store material with the warehouse. Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records, including tracking and reporting discrepancies. Ensure an organized workspace by pick, pack, and prepare inventory, ensuring accuracy and timelines. Examine contents and compare them with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify the accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments. Properly create and maintain all shipping data to ensure accurate records. Select appropriate shipping methods based on the nature of the items and delivery requirements. Confer and correspond with establishment representatives to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, and nonconformance to specifications. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment as needed. Use work devices, such as hand trucks and sorting bins, to deliver or route materials to various departments. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure seamless operations. Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as required to support organizational objectives.
