If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about leading teams to success, this is your chance to shine! Duties Ensuring training and communication methods (for new hires and reiteration or updates for existing personnel) are demonstrated to be effective for each individual team member, covering all topics to include those generally listed, the many others inherent to the operation, as well as those evolving as the work progresses. A very basic yet extremely crucial function of the security service is to create and maintain thorough, accurate, legible Gate Logs (recording specific details of everything and everyone arriving and departing the property), Bills of Lading (BOL), varied documents, paperwork and reports, etc. The Security Supervisor continually trains, re-trains, coaches, continuously supports, and ensures all errors and omissions from the security team (relevant to protocols and processes involving those varied documents) are identified and corrected for quality compliance before the documents are pulled from the Gate House each early morning. Site Supervisor will be the primary trainer for all initial 24-hours of new-hire training and refresher training for current employees. The Supervisor must embody the customer's expectations of quality, intensity and timeliness, and infuse newly hired officers, as well as veteran officers, with those priorities. Be able to identify wins and opportunities for other security staff on site and be proactive rather than reactive to fix any potential issues before it gets to our client and causes dissatisfaction. Be trained on company platforms as directed by the chain of command and Company Administration to fill schedules, assign posts, contact employees, and maintain good records. Being aware of all applicable departmental instructions, procedures, and policies that affect the proper performance of duty. Act as the main point of contact for the client on site staff and will be responsible for reporting any and all issues to the chain of command. The primary purpose of the Site Supervisor is NOT to "catch" officers making mistakes, nor to have officers feel intimidated by the Supervisor or in fear of continued employment. Proper and effective training, re-training, coaching and supporting of the officers as they each need… helps the officer's performance, morale, reliability and turnover… which ultimately helps make the Site Supervisor's job easier, your position more stable, and the customer content with your company's overall service quality. Training isn't something that is intended to take place in the first 24 work-hours of a new hire's employment, and then like magic a great long-standing officer appears. For the duration of being in this position, an effective Leader continuously 1) Trains, 2) Identifies successes & challenges, 3) Celebrates the success and Coaches to the Challenges, 4) Re-Trains… and the cycle never ends… and the Site Supervisor (Leader) doesn't get frustrated by the need to train / review & support / retrain. Leaders lead and support team members, making everyone continuously better. Don't forget, better officers make the Supervisor's job so much easier! Experience Customer Service Experience is required. Truck gate experience for at least a year. Report-writing skills. Supervisor Experience for at least one year. Have the ability to train other employees. Have critical thinking skills.
