Responsibilities Assist with daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service flow and adherence to food safety standards Support staff training initiatives, including onboarding new team members and developing their skills in food handling, cooking, and customer service Manage shift responsibilities such as supervising team members, overseeing food production, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety Operate POS systems like Aloha POS and Micros POS accurately for order processing and cash handling Participate in inventory control activities, including stock checks, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste Contribute to food safety management by following proper food handling procedures and ensuring compliance with health regulations Help analyze profit and loss reports to understand financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement Experience Previous experience in quick service or fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred Hands-on experience with food preparation, cooking, or kitchen management is advantageous Demonstrated supervisory or team leadership experience within the food industry or hospitality sector Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus Strong communication skills for effective managerial communication and staff training Basic math skills for cash handling, inventory management, and financial analysis Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting while maintaining excellent customer service standards This paid internship positions you at the forefront of restaurant management development.
