We are looking for a driven, customer-focused Assistant Store Manager to help lead our team and support day-to-day store operations. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone who thrives in retail, enjoys mentoring others, and is ready to take the next step in store leadership. What You'll Do Lead on the Floor Deliver outstanding customer service in person and over the phone Support add-on sales and special orders Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently Support Store Operations Assist with opening and closing procedures Manage store operations in the Store Manager's absence Maintain compliance with company policies and safety standards Monitor and respond to loss prevention concerns Drive Sales & Merchandising Assist with planograms, endcaps, promotional displays, and signage Participate in inventory counts, ordering, and pricing Promote loyalty programs and increase basket size Develop the Team Train and coach sales associates and cashiers Encourage teamwork and accountability Help lead and participate in team meetings What We're Looking For Strong leadership skills and ability to supervise a team Outstanding customer service mindset Retail experience preferred (hardware experience a plus) Comfortable operating POS systems and Microsoft Office Organized, self-motivated, and solution-oriented Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Flexibility required Why Join Carr Hardware?
