Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Manager to help lead our team and drive the success of our retail operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily store activities, managing staff, and ensuring that sales goals are met while maintaining high standards of store presentation and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Lead and motivate a team of employees to achieve sales targets and provide excellent customer service. Oversee all aspects of store management including inventory control, merchandising, and pricing strategies. Conduct employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team performance. Manage payroll, bookkeeping, and budgeting processes to ensure financial accuracy. Implement effective recruiting strategies to hire qualified staff members. Supervise daily operations including cashiering, stock management, and shift management. Maintain effective communication with staff regarding store policies, procedures, and promotions. Utilize retail math for inventory management and sales analysis to optimize store performance. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth among employees. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. Qualifications Proven experience in retail management or assistant manager roles with a strong understanding of retail operations. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Strong negotiation skills with experience in purchasing and vendor relations. Proficient in inventory management systems and POS technology. Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills; bilingual or multilingual capabilities are a plus. Experience in merchandising, marketing strategies, and retail sales techniques is highly desirable. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and retail math principles is essential. Ability to work flexible hours including weekends as needed.
