Role Description The Assistant Store Manager is a full-time, on-site role located at the Ann Taylor Factory Outlet in Wrentham, MA. This role supports the Store Manager in driving sales, overseeing daily store operations, and maintaining visual and operational standards. Responsibilities include coaching and mentoring store associates, ensuring excellent customer service, assisting with scheduling and floor coverage, and monitoring inventory and stock replenishment. The Assistant Store Manager helps implement loss prevention procedures, maintains a clean and organized sales floor, and participates in opening and closing processes. This position also contributes to performance reporting, supports training initiatives, and fosters a positive, inclusive team environment aligned with company policies and brand values. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction skills, with a focus on creating welcoming, solution-oriented shopping experiences. Candidates should possess solid Communication skills to interact effectively with customers, team members, and leadership. Candidates should possess Store Management capabilities, including supporting daily operations, team coordination, and adherence to company standards. Candidates should possess awareness of Retail Loss Prevention practices to help protect company assets and ensure a secure store environment. Additional beneficial qualifications include prior supervisory experience in retail, basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems, ability to stand and move for extended periods, and flexibility to work a varied schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
