Our assortment features hand-printed designs and superior craftsmanship. Pawsitivity is going into its 8th season on Nantucket and is excited to be expanding into Provincetown. We are looking for the right person to grow with us in this hour + commission role! Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Retail Assistant Manager to join our vibrant team! In this energetic role, you will lead daily store operations, inspire your team, and deliver exceptional customer service. Your leadership will drive sales growth, ensure inventory accuracy, and uphold our high standards of retail excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a proactive individual passionate about retail management and team development to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, to ensure smooth business flow. Lead, motivate, and supervise sales associates to achieve sales targets and deliver outstanding customer experiences. Handle customer inquiries with professionalism, resolve issues promptly, and ensure high satisfaction levels. Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, cash handling, and sales reporting accurately. Implement marketing initiatives to promote store products and increase foot traffic. Ensure compliance with safety standards, store policies, and merchandising guidelines at all times. Experience Proven management experience within retail environments, preferably as an assistant manager or supervisor. Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively across shifts. Demonstrated proficiency in POS systems, cash handling, and cashiering procedures. Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse customer bases. Organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting.

Pay:

$25.00 - $50.00 per hour
