Jordan's , the leading furniture retailer in New England, is looking for an aspiring Retail Management Intern to join our team in a fast-paced retail environment where we create raving fans for our customers and employees while ensuring it's all about the experience. Through our "Furnish Your Future" Intern Development Program , you'll kick off your career by learning the ins and outs of retail leadership in a competitive industry. You'll work closely with store managers and leadership teams to gain exposure to all aspects of retail operations, including customer experience, team development, sales performance, staffing, and business execution. Our ideal candidate is currently a rising college senior enrolled in a Business Management, or related degree program. Previous retail or customer service experience is helpful but not required . If you're interested in developing your leadership skills and learning what it takes to successfully manage a retail business, this internship is for you. While you will perform necessary tasks, Jordan's is prepared to invest in each intern's future with hands-on learning and development to ensure the best experience for our future J-Team! This internship will require travel to various locations and will be held in person. Some weekend shifts will be required . This is a 10-week paid internship, starting June 7 th 2027 based in Reading, MA with opportunities to visit retail store locations throughout New England. Who You Are:
Rising college junior or senior pursuing a degree in Business or Retail or a related field. Interested in developing leadership and people management skills. A proactive, self-motivated individual with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with customers and team members. Ability to problem solve , think critically, and work in a fast-paced environment. Prior customer service, retail, leadership, or supervisory experience is a plus.
Pay Range:
$23.00 per hour. We share our pay range because transparency matters. This reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this role based on experience and performance.
